PAGE SEVEN CURRIERS There will be church service as us- al next Sunday, at 10:80 a. m. Everyone enjoyed the first mis sionary meeting which was held in t be church parlors, Friday afternoon. Supper was served by the hostesses, (Mrs. Guy .Miller, Mrs. Arthur Ring, Mr. Clark Holmes. The out of guests were Eev. and Mrs. - Mosley and son of Arcade, and town guests J ^james^McCutcheon of York- C. E. meeting was Ijhire. The Y. P- S. held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. B, Twiss on Sunday evening, with Jlrs. Twiss as leader. Memorial Day passed off pleasant ly in Curriers. The weather was per fect, and all day there were many out of town people who visited the cemetery to leave flowers on the graves of loved ones and then drove silently away; while others visited with friends in town. At the Con gregational church, Rev. John Mann of Houghton preached, after which a patriotic program was presented. We were fortunate in having with us James Bush, a veteran of tHe World war, and Miss Sara Smith of Buffalo, fwho was a Red Cross nurse in France. They both wore their uniforms and (headed the procession, and James Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Nichols had as guests, Mr. and Mrs. Addington of East Aurora, Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Nichols of Yorkshire, 'Mr Frank Ed dy and Russell Mitchell of Arcade.
