The Altamont Enterpriser Thursday, October 7, 2004 Rocco A. Ferrera, 47, of 2360 Western Ave., room 7, Guilder- land, was arrested on Sept. 27, at 2025 Western Ave., for petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Guilderland Police say Ferrera stole merchandise, valued at $172.97, from Rite Aid and concealed the items in a backpack. His car was stopped by Colonie Police and he admitted to stealing the items, the arrest report says. Gregory J. Dreher, 22, of 81 Winthrop Ave., first floor, Al- bany, was arrested on Sept. 24, on Crossgates Mall Road, for driving while intoxicated, first offense, and for driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 per- cent or greater, both misde- meanors, and for speeding, an in- fraction. Guilderland Police say Dreher was stopped for speeding and he was found to show signs of intoxication. He was also found to have a warrant from Albany Police, the arrest report says. Mark E. Krosky, 44, of 15 Mar- ket St., Rotterdam Junction, was arrested on Sept. 25, at 428 Route 146, for second-degree unlawful imprisonment, a misdemeanor, and for second-degree harass- ment, a violation. Guilderland Police say in the parking lot of the Guilderland Center Nursing Home, Krosky prevented the complainant from leaving her car by putting his hands on her shoulders. He also grabbed her face and pushed her head back, the arrest report says. * * * * Domonec S. Tucker, 17, of 653 State St., #1, Albany, and Lydia R. Williams, 19, of 335 Second St., #1, Albany, were both arrested on Sept. 25, at Crossgates Mall, for petit larceny and for criminal mischief with intent to damage property, both misdemeanors. Guilderland Police say, in a fit- ting room at Filene's, both Tucker and Willams cut the ink tags off of merchandise, damag- ing it, and concealed the items in a bag. Tucker stole a shirt, valued at $28; a sweatshirt, valued at $54; and a pair of jeans, valued at $48, the arrest report says. Williams stole a pair of jeans, valued at $72, and a jacket, val- ued at $96, the report says. Bryan J. Foo, 19, of 30 Pitch Pine Road, and Danielle T. Mule, 17, of 28 Elmwood St., both of Al- bany, were both ticketed on Sept. 24, at 6279 Johnston Road, for unlawful possession of mari- juana, a violation. Foo was also charged with unauthorized use of a license, an infraction. Guilderland Police say Foo was in the parking lot of a business that was closed. Police investi- gated and found his car smelled of marijuana, the arrest report says, and marijuana was later found on the floor of the car, un- der the passenger seat. Mule was a passenger in the car and she was found to possess marijuana in a silver pipe that she concealed down the front of her pants, the report says. When asked for identification, Foo gave police his driver's license with an altered date of birth, the report says. **** Jasmine Q. Cargill, 18, of 165 North Lake Ave., second floor, Albany, was arrested on Sept. 25, at Crossgates Mall, for petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Guilderland Police say Cargill stole a sweater from Filene's and was stopped by the store's loss- prevention officer. * #*# Joseph A. Cabey, 25, of 300 Morton Ave., #3, Albany, was ar- rested on Sept. 24, at Crossgates Mall, for petit larceny, a misde- meanor. Guilderland Police say Cabey stole money from a cash box at a restaurant in the mall. The restaurant owner had Cabey on video stealing the money and reported it to police, the report says. **** James F. Reed, 59, of 100 Fos- ter Lane, Altamont, was arrested on Sept. 23, at 200 Foster Lane, for second-degree menacing with a weapon, a misdemeanor. Guilderland Police say the com- plainant reported that Reed swerved toward him with his car, as the complainant rode his bicycle. Reed and the com- plainant got into a verbal dispute, the arrest report says. Reed then went home and got a baseball bat, then went after the com-' plainant, raising the bat above his heat, and threatened to \knock his head off,\ the report says. . **** Aaron W. Handin, 31, of 256 South Pearl St., Albany, was ar- rested on Sept. 23, at 2080 West- ern Ave., for petit larceny, a mis- demeanor. Guilderland Police say Handin stole DVD's from Hollywood Video and from Eck- erd, which are both in the 20 Mall. * * * * Christopher M. Olsen, 17, of Post Office Box 43, Duanesburg, and Richard T. Walpole, 17, of 9586 Duanesburg Road, Delan- son, were both arrested <m Sept. 22, at East Old State and Kings roads. Olsen was ticketed for unlawful possession of mari- juana, a violation, and Walpole was arrested for fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor. Guilderland Police say Olsen was stopped for having a side brake light out and for his front-seat passenger not wearing a seat belt. Upon investigation, Olsen admitted to possessing a bag containing a glass pipe with marijuana, the arrest report says. Mesick, 42, of 2 Schuyler Road, Albany, was ar- rested on Sept. 20, at 1732 West- ern Ave., for driving while intox- icated, first offense, and driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, both mis- demeanors, and for following too closely, an infraction. Guilder- land Police say Mesick was in- volved in a property-damage auto accident where he crashed into the back of another vehicle. He showed signs of intoxication and failed a field sobriety test, the report says. **** Vanessa M. Lafleur, 24, of 204 Greenwich Drive, Albany, was arrested on Sept. 16, at 1810 Western Ave., for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misde- meanor. Guilderland Police say Lafleur was involved in prop- erty-damage auto accident and she was found to have a sus- pended license for failure to an- swer a summons in Coeymans. # * # # Michael J. Kabler, 30, of 11 Crown Terrace, Albany, was ar- rested on Sept. 17, at Elmwood Street and Western Avenue, for resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, and for loitering, a violation. Guilderland Police say they ob- served Kabler walking on West- ern Avenue with his head and face completely covered by a hat. An officer stopped to talk to Kabler and he became extremely agitated, refused to answer questions, and attempted to run into traffic on Western Avenue, the report says. At that point, the officer tried to subdue Kabler and he resisted arrest and re- fused to place his hands behind his back, the report says. Barbara L. Vido, 46, of 9 Saint Thomas Lane, Schenectady, was arrested on Sept. 17, at Cross- gates Mall, for acting in a man- ner injurious to a child, a misde- meanor, and for second-degree harassment, a violation. Guilderland Police say Vido was at the mall with her six-year-old daughter and three-year-old son and she showed signs of intoxi- cation; her blood-alcohol content was .23 percent, the report says. She asked police to let her neigh- bor take the children home, the report says. At the police sub-sta- tion, the neighbor came, along with Vido's, 15-year-old daughter, the report says. Vido became belligerent and shoved her older daughter to the ground, the re- port says, and she was then ar- rested. *** * Jennifer L. Baldwin, 26, of 2 Mercy Court, Albany, was ar- rested on Sept. 16, at Cornell Av- enue and Western Avenue, for third-degree aggravated unli- censed operation of a motor ve- hicle, a misdemeanor, and on an outside warrant. Guilderland Police say Baldwin was involved in a property-damage auto acci- dent and she was found to have a suspended license for failure to pay a fine in Colonie in July and for failure to answer a summons in Albany in September of 1999. She was also found to be wanted by Rensselear Police for failure to pay a fine, the arrest report says. lice say Opalka stole a CD and a game, valued at $30 total, from Best Buy. Jefferey D. Opalka, 16, of 1 Pleasant Ave., Amsterdam, was arrested on Sept. 20, at Cross- gates Mall, for petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Guilderland Po- Virginia M. Fuller, 44, of 3488 Carman Road, Guilderland, was arrested on Sept. 18, a t Carman Road and Ronald Place, for fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Guilderland Po- lice say Fuller was arrested on a signed complaint that she inten- tionally damaged a window. **** Bernard Lee Halloman, 37, of 24 Berwyn St., Guilderland, was arrested on Sept. 11 on Route 20 in Guilderland for driving while intoxicated and driving with a b.lood-alcohol content of .08 per- cent or greater, both misde- meanors. He was pulled over for traffic infractions, the Albany County Sheriffs Department says, and failed a field sobriety test. The sheriffs department says his blood-alcohol content, when tested at the sheriffs sta- tion, was .12 percent. * *# # Donald D. Decker Jr., 23, of 968 Vermont Ave., Schenectady, was arrested on Sept. 11 on Fuller Road in Guilderland for second-degree aggravated unli- censed operation of a vehicle, a misdemeanor. The Albany County Sheriffs Department says he was stopped for insecure license plates, and was found to have a suspended license. **** Jacqueline V. Reed, 55, of 183 South Grand St., Cobleskill, was arrested on Sept. 17 on Route 145 in Rensselaerville for third-de- gree aggravated unlicensed op- eration of a vehicle, a misde- meanor. The Albany County Sheriffs Department says she was stopped for equipment vio- lations and found to have a sus- pended license. Kent LaPointe, 30, of 106 Patron Dr., Guilderland, was ar- rested on Sept. 17 on Route 85A in New Scotland for aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, a misdemeanor. The Albany County Sheriffs Department says he was stopped for drifting into the left lane and was found to have a suspended license. Town Court GUILDERLAND — Among the cases presided over by Judge John Bailey in Guilderland Town Court on Sept. 30 are: — Nicola Dagostino, 49, of 20 Brookview Drive, Guilderland, arrested on July 17, for second- degree assault, had his case ad- journed in contemplation of dis- missal. Bannon, 44, of 5 Barber Lane, East Berne, was ar- rested on Sept. 15 at 36B Maple Road in Voorheesville for sev- enth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a mis- demeanor. The Albany County Sheriffs Department says a pa- trol dispatched to the residence in Voorheesville found Bannon with a crack pipe with cocaine residue. In a related charge, Jacqueline Anyos, 43, of 36B Maple Road, Voorheesville, was also arrested for criminal possession of a con- trolled substance, a misde- meanor, at 9 Barber Lane. The Albany County Sheriff's Department says Bannon told sheriffs officers he was smoking crack with Anyos, and that she put a crack pipe in the garbage can. Sheriffs officers found pieces of a crack pipe with co- caine residue. *#* # Christopher M. Powers, 19, of 198 Stony Hollow Rd., Greienlawn, was arrested on Sept. 19 on Altamont Road in New Scotland for criminal pos- session of a forged instrument, a misdemeanor; and unlawful pos- session of marijuana, a violation. The Albany County Sheriffs Department says he was pulled over for a broken headlight and failure to dim headlights and was found to have two glass pipes containing marijuana residue.
