Leonard, #150, uninsured; the Btein manufacturing company, $400; covered by insurance. When the alarm was given a man was discovered running from the pile of straw in which the fre started. He was cap- tured and taken to police beadquarters and locked up on a charge of incendfarism, He gave his namo as James Halstead, and said he was a tramp. In the police court this morning he was sent up for thirty days as u vagf-ant in the meantime officers will make a thorough Investigation of the origin of the fre, and if sufficient evidence can be secured against him, he will bo arrested as goon as his time expires. t »« e * A.
