Call and examine. —A few days since Mr. Stafford Soper, if Peru, had stolen from him a horse, har- ness and buggy. After searching for them al polntBon the lake he finally, stopped at Crownpoint Making no dis- ery, be left with the intention of taking i boat, and on his way to the landing discovered his property by the wayside, ,nd a man feeding the horse with ears of orn from the adjoining field. A. Family Reunion. PHIKTO LANSING :—I am requeued by the circle of friends to send you some facts and statistics relating to the Ayres family, and their recent annual gathering. For quite a number of years it has been the custom of the brothers, with their companions, chil- dren and grand-children, to meet at the residence of one of the brothers annually, for a reunion. At this time the gathering waa at Dudley J. Ayres, of Peru, Clinton County, Sept. 10. The parents' names were Joel and Beth- sheba Ayres. They reared their family in the town of Waybridge, Ve were eight (8) brothers, on half sisters, as the father r time. The sister married Rev. Hiram Bian\ chard of the Troy Conference, and deceased not far from twenty (20) years since. The elder half sister married Mr. H. H. Stephens of Watertown, who were present on the occasion, and tbe younger married Mr Moses F. Oollina, of Potsdam. On the occasion referred to, the eight brothers and their companions in life were present.
