All physicians practising within tin afore said town of Jamaica, are required forthwith, on tlio discovery ofnny case or cases of contagious disease, to report the same to tlie Supervisor, or to either of the Justices of tlvp Peace of tho town. And tlio Health Officer, when requested he cither ot tho said Maui*- trates, who constitute tlio Board of Health of the town, shall visit such place or places designated, as soon us may bo and report to the member who made tlie re quest, the condition of sucli place or places in regard to health, or as to tile disease ot any person or persons nt the promises designated. \ s 2 .
