L I G H T N I N G A N D T H E C L O T H E S L I N E During the thunder shower Thursday night, April 13vh, lightning struck a tree on Lew is Tw a v s’ larm, near K elley’s Corners, and follow ing a wire clothes line which was attached to the tree and the house, entered the house tearing (ff a portion of siding and damaging the house quite badly. A t the same tim e one of the currents entered the barn and killed a calf which w a s fastened with a chain but did no haim to other stock which at the flame tim e was in the barn.
