The president of the state's largest farm organization has called over-order prjeing the best vehicle to increase the price of milk immediately for farmers in these tough economic times. Charles Wille, president of the New York Farm Bureau and an Orange County dairy farmer, said., \farmers are frustrated in these tough times of declining milk prices and increased costs. Achieving over-order pricing is a positive means of obtaining a higher price for milk producers now, and the best organization to carry that out is the Regional Cooperative Marketing Agency (RCMA).\ \Farm Bureau has long supported the concept of over-order pricing to get dairy farmers a higher price for their milk,\ added Wille. \We have hired Leland Beebe, former New York Farm Bureau Director of Governmental Relations, to be the RCMA Program Administrator. We are organizing our campaign to go out and sign up the necessary number in RCMA in order to institute over- order pricing.\ \We applaud the efforts of the bipartisan legislative support and the efforts of Ag and Markets Commissioner Joseph Gerace, that RCMA has thus received,\ said Wille. In order for over- order pricing to work, approximately 95 percent of the milk producers in the Northeast must contractually agree. \We are especially encouraging independent farmers to sign with RC- MA,\ voiced Wille. \We cannot get the higher price instituted without the support of most of the dairymen of the Northeast. This is an opportunity for Northeast dairymen to have a positive direct impact on milk prices.\ Boylston News By Billie Snyder Mr. and Mrs. Emery Tamblin wish to announce the arrival of a great- grandson, Tristan Steven Soucias, who was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Soucias of Hannawha Falls, Sep- tember 6, 1986 at Potsdam.
