Sandy Creek Central School has announced the names of athletes named to Ail-Star Teams. Girls' Varsity Softball players Sandy Quonce, Lisa Graham, Bev Bush, Sherry Collins and Chris Fowler were chosen to the Frontier League All-Star Team. According to Coach Pat McDougal, Bush, a senior outfielder, had a batting average of .657, hit 14 , homeruns (for year's highest in league), had 28 stolen bases, and 43 runs batted in. Senior Lisa Graham, who played Second Base, had a batting average of .616, 30 runs batted in, 17 stolen bases, and only one strike-out all year. Pitcher Sherry Collins, a senior, had a record 13-5, and a batting average of .327. Senior Chris Fowler, who played outfield, racked up a .414 batting average, 28 runs batted in, and 15 stolen bases. Junior catcher Sandy Quonce recorded a batting average of .484, 20 runs batted in, 13 stolen bases and a .967 fielding average. Others graduating seniors who will be long remembered for their contributions to the team are: Heidi Learned, catcher and first-baseman, Diana Brown, first base position, Robin VanCamp, outfielder, Vicki House, pitcher and out- fielder, Anneli Krebs (foreign exchange student) outfield. The team placed second in league play with a 11^-4 record, and an overall record of 16-5. They also took first in the play-offs, defeating Lowville, 10-3 in the first- round, and South Lewis, 18-8 in the finals. and 2 record in pitching, and batted .500 in league play. Hastings, who played first- base, batted over .400.
