Lisa is the daughter of Charles and Evelyn Masuicca of Pulaski Toddler Swim Opens Season i oddler i. swim is open to the p !'.c on Wednesday evenings trom 6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. Toddlers are six months to four years of age or under 42\ tall. Parent or adult must accompany each toddler in the pool. Fee is $1 per parent and toddler team. Toddlers cannot i^e the pool during the legular public Recreational swim on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7 - 9 v.m. Adult swim for the public is 8:30- 9 p.m. on Monday and Thursday evenings, or during the student swim. Fee is $ 1. Adults may also swim on Wednesdays from 6:15 to 7 p.m. during toddler swim. Monday, May 26, 1986 Banner Times-Page-3 Local Residents Graduate Promoted The 1986 commencement ceremony was held at SUNY Canton ATC on Saturday, May 17 at 10:30 a.m. in the Alumni Gymnasium. Candidates for graduation number 714. The featured speaker for the 78th annual commencement at Canton ATC was Dr. Earl W. MacArthur, president. In addition,- David Maynard, president of the Student Cooperative Alliance, gave a brief address.The following are can- didates for degree or certificate from SUNY Canton ATC, subject to the completion of all curriculum requirements, as may be others not listed here. Thomas Shirley, Lacona; Harold Miller and William Wallace, Mexico; Keith Borland, Richard Brown, Suzanne Hathaway, Tracy Heckle, James Johnson, Brad Pfluger and Lisa Smith, all of Pulaski, and Jennifer Watson, Richland. Syracuse-Niagara Mohawk's Syracuse office recently announced several personnel changes. One of these changes concerned Bruce R. Soule, who has been promoted to assistant supervisor Transmission and Distribution. He previously served as a chief line mechanic hot stick. He is presently vice chairman and majority leader of the Oswego County Legislature (Town of Richland). From 1948-52, he served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. Soule resides in Pulaski with his wife, Grace. Graduates Machael Stevens Michael J. Stevens, son of Ernest O. Stevens of Orwell and Salley Stevens of Sandy Creek, has at- tained Miss Assoicates Degree in Phipical Education from Hudson Valley Community College. He and his wife, tme former Cynthia Halsey, will be moving to Cortland, where Mike will enter the fall semester at Cortland State University. Mike is a 1984 gradutate of Sandy Creek. DAR Young Homemakers Contest Winners of the DAR Young Homemakers Contest modeled their creations for those present May 2. They are: Kim Roth, Mexico, third place; Claudette Rogers, Mexico, second; Kelly Payne, Sandy Creek, first in Senior Division, and in Junior Division, first place, Kim Turo Sandy Creek. Syracuse, Mrs. Jessie Gothan of Camden, Mrs. Robert Colvin of Central Square and Mr. Richard Ackley of Rome were all Sunday visitors of Mrs. Raymond Ackley. Mr. and Mrs. William McCrum of New Milford, Conn, spent the week with Mr. and Mrs. Chelson Sayer. I made a mistake in my news last week. It should be Bob Monson's 75 birthday and it was May 15. I said it was his 74th and was on the 16th. Bob called me to tell me of the mistake. We had a good visit and I told him everyone can't remember dates, etc. like he can and afterall, I did make him 1 year younger. Happy Birthday anyways. Will Hold Dinner On June 9, the Ladies' Auxiliary of the American Legion Robert Edwards Post #358 will hold their annual Darkhorse Dinner at 7 p.m. at the Wigwam Restaurant. Four Score Plus Nora Ridgeway of Lacona, will be 92 on June 1. She has six grand- children, 19 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Ridgeway currently resides with Ralph and Irene Robbins.
