During the past week, Jack Tucker of [cDonald's, who is working on % publicity, has distributed many of the attractive posters designed, printed and donated by North Country Photographies, throughout the area. In the next couple of weeks, businesses in Northern Oswego County will be receiving letters requesting their financial support in raising prize money. Since cash seems to be the most popular prize, the bigger the amount, the better our chance for a big crowd and a successful fund raiser. Some merchandise and gift certificates will also be sought. Realizing many area businesses are small, support of any amount will be greatly appreciated. With a united participation effort, the total sum will be built. Community support and spirit, toward a finished Community .Center, is qur, goal. Everyone's support is im- portant. Donors will be acknowledged in our news releases and should keep in mind that their donation doubles in value when matched by the Snow Foun- dation's matching funds. The Snowbelt Community Center Board of Directors, working in cooperation with American Legion Post 385 and the Greater Pulaski Area Chamber of Commerce are hoping to make the Bingo Marathon a big fund raiser. The \really big\ winners will be us~area residents and businesses for when the Center is finished and in full operation it will be bringing activity, entertainment, and business into our area. Roger Wood, Schoeller Technical Paper Company, is now chairman of the Snowbelt Center's Board of Directors and is heading the prize solicitation effort. Working with him will be Gloria Bray of the Greater Pulaski Chamber. Eileen Yager from the American Legion is coordinating the technicalities of the Bingo itself.
