WALWORTH NEWS Personals Pvt. Duane F. Bulman is spending a 10 day leave with his family, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bulman of Walworth, before going overseas to Okinawa. Pvt. Bulman is in the Marine Corps. Terry Bulman has enlisted in the Marine Corp. and is presently stationed at Parris Island, South Carolina. . Miss Sherri Renee Kirstein is spending a month with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schlegel. She brought her parents, Kathy and Kurt, from California with her. Gary Bulman of Newark had a going away party on Oct. 17 for Terry Bulman. Guests present were from Newark, Palmyra, Walworth, Macedon, Victor, by Shirley Huntley Phone 597-5065 Honeoye Falls. Miss Suzanne Lyn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lyn, has left for Fort Bainbridge, Maryland. She has enlisted for 3 years in the WAVES. Stanley Bulman of the Walworth Ontario Rd., Walworth has been ill with bronchitis for the past few weeks. He is slowly improving at this writing. Scouts Plan Camporee Plans for the Boy Scout spring camporee to be held in Walworth in May have been announced by Stan Waters, district Boy Scout executive. Iroquois District will hold the weekend event May 19-21, 1972. Harold VandenBout, Newark Road, Palmyra, became the bride of E. Richard Dodge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Dodge, 4 Canan daigua Road, Palmyra. The Rev. Warren Babcock, pastor of the Church, received the vows of the young couple in a double ring ceremony. Miss Elaine Van denBout, E. Palmyra, was organist. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown of French organza, chantilly lace and seed pearls with a high neckline, outlined in chantilly lace and seed pearls continuing down to the empire bodice. Her gown had a detachable train, edged with chantilly lace, which gracefully flowed from the back of the empire bodice. Completing the bride’s attire was her matching headpiece, which held her shirred bouffant veil of tull£. The bouquet was of white pompons and pink sweetheart roses, with baby’s breath scattered throughout. Small ivy leaves draped below the cluster of flowers with the baby’s breath. Mrs. Earl Stauring of Walworth, sister of the groom, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Amy VandenBout, sister of the bride, Miss Karen Norsen and Miss Sandy Prieke, both of Newark. All wore floor-length gowns of pink chiffon over taffeta with long chiffon sleeves and high necklines with ruffled collars. Burgundy velvet boleros and matching velvet bows completed their attire. The matron of honor carried a bouquet of white pompons, edged with pink mums, while the bridesmaids carried pink mums outlined in white pompons. Richard Webster of Palmyra, friend of the bride and groom, acted as best man. Ushers were Earl Stauring of Walworth, brother-in-law of the groom, Lester Hall, uncle of the bride and John Harvey, friend of the bride and groom, both of Palmyra. The bride’s mother chose a light pink dress with matching pink lace coat for her daughter’s wedding. A corsage of pink mums completed her ensemble. The mother of the groom was gowned in a mint green dress with which MAKE Mr. & Mrs. E. Richard Dodge (Miss Sharon VandenBout) she wore a corsage of yellow- white mums. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the VFW in Palmyra for approximately 175 guests. Following a wedding trip the young couple will reside at 246 Walker Street, Palmyra. Prenuptial events included grocery showers given by the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Vincent Hoad, and one by Mrs. Sharon VerHeecke and Miss Bonnie Leonard, friends of the bride; variety showers given by Mrs. Robert Lyons of Newark, Mrs. Bruce Wood of Williamson, an aunt of the bride, Mrs. Earl Stauring, of Walworth and one given by friends of the bride at the home of Mrs. Albert Rykbost of Shortsville. Mrs. Elwood Hall, Newark entertained in the bride’s honor at a family gathering. The bride is a graduate of Newark Central School and is employed at VandenBout Associates in Palmyra. The groom graduated from Palmyra- Macedon Central School and is employed at Mobil Chemical Co. in Macedon. Here & There Club Meets The next meeting of the Here and There Home Demonstration Meeting will be held at Blanche West’s, 418 W. Main St. on Thurs. Nov. 18. Refreshments by Dee Goebert and Janette Kaveny.
