Mrs. Ronald Jones and her three daughters of Rochester were Wednesday noon guests of her grandmother Mrs. Mildred Jess Mr. Howard Rowe is now convalescing at home after being m the hospital. Mrs. George Paul, Mrs. Peter Meyer and son, Todd, and Mrs. Jerry Sherman and son, Greg, were Wednesday luncheon guests of Mrs. Kenneth Hammond. Gary Wayne Rogers, infant son of Mr and Mrs. James Rogers, was baptized during Sunday morning \worship service at the United Methodist Church Mrs James Rogers and Mrs. Valerie Gill were welcomed during the services at the United Methodist Church. Main St. Palmyra g 4-HLeaders Attend Forum Mrs. Harlan Lawrence, Mrs. Richard Mann and Mrs. James Airy from Macedon Center, along with Mrs Kenneth Henning and Mrs Robert Putnam from Macedon, attended the Fingerlakes Regional Forum at Lodge on the Green, Painted Post, N.Y., November 5-6. Approximately 60 4-H Leaders from Monroe, Livingston, On tario, Yates, Wayne, Steuben and Seneca counties attended. “THINK” Groups aimed to share leadership experiences with leaders from other counties. The aim of the Forum was to gain skills in program planning and interpersonal understanding and to learn about new and existing 4- H programs. Police were called and the papers made out for the individual’s arrest. Man and wife had words— police advised them to simmer down. An ambulance was called for a woman who had a seizure on Main St. She was taken to the Newark Wayne Community Hospital Broke up a party in the village because of many complaints. Observed person taking clothes from the Salvation Army Deposit Boxes When I questioned what was going on, I was told that the President of the United States had given permission to take the clothing Who am I to argue with the President9 Called back to the same area where a feud has been going on for 8 years. One neighbor com plained of five holes being shot in his windshield. Several BB’s were found in the driveway. This area needs a patrolman 24 hours a day Assisted the New York State Police m investigating a gun complaint on N. Creek Rd. Received complaint of egg throwing -- checked same out Returned to feud area - again! Other neighbor complained of having one of his windows shot out These people are beyond reasoning They appear to have one goal in mind - to harass the other. Sooner or later the situation is going to explode. Methodist Church Sells Church House Action of the Charge Con ference and a Congregational Meeting of First United Methodist Church, Palmyra, on October 24, 1971 resulted in the sale of the house at 113 W. Main Street, known as the “ Methodist Church House” to John S. Blazey of Palmyra. Received complaint of broken window on Main Street. Checked on boy that is supposedly the one who threw stone. Boy denied it. Stopped a vehicle with 12 young people in it They were packed m like proverbial sardines Sear ched the vehicle and found 2 dozen eggs, 2 pellet pistols and 1 flare, which we confiscated. Young people were informed that if they wanted the loot back they would have to have their parents call for it. Back to the feud area! Another window out! Will patrol and keep watch Patience! Complaint of youth in street Checked situation out A woman called to complain that someone threw something into her pool which turned the water black A lady complained of youth blocking street every morning when she goes to work. Rode in her car and talked to people in volved A woman called to say she slapped her neighbor in the heat of an argument. Back to the feud area' Neigh bor complained that someone npped her screen off the hinges Accusations are made but no one ever sees anything’ Police need facts Police are blamed for not locking the other one up Patience is growing shorter' Person came to station to make arrest of party for slapping his wife Made out the necessary papers Woman reported that her 13 year old son had not been home. Told her we would keep watch Woman called back that her son had arrived home Man reported the theft of his side-view mirror from his car. Woman called to report ac cident on Rt. 31 - turned same over to Wayne County Sheriff Dept. Investigated accident — minor. Arrested man for unregistered vehicle. Again - to the feud area. Woman complained that her fence was knocked down She said she did not want police - that she would take care of it herself - police didn’t do anything anyway Agreed with her that she was 99 percent correct Police were too busy coming and going from her place when complaints came in Maybe we should stay there' Man complained that someone took his battery charger Valued at $20 Under investigation. Broke up fight in front of a building A man complained that someone had taken his mother’s purse. He put it in his car and ran into store a couple of minutes When he returned, it was gone It contained $43, credit cards, etc. Under investigation.
