He h ad b e e n active in school sports an d w as first b asem an on the W arsaw b aseb all team . H e w as a m em b er o f th e M eth o d ist church an d o f the F irem en ’s D ru m Corps. M r. C rist w as em p lo y ed as an installation an d re p a ir m an fo r th e Rochester T elep h o n e C o rp o ratio n in th e G eneseo D istrict.
