CHANGE IN APPLYING FOR DEER· HUNTING PERMITS There has beeri. a change in the application for· Deer Hunting Party Permits. The Conser- vation Department has changed the time element and procedure somewhat .in applying for the permits. This years permits have been delivered to the Town Clerks· offices as of the first of August and must be filled out and mailed by AlJGUST 27th to the Conserva- tion Dept. in Albany. To save' you the last minute rush of mailing party permit appllcations ahd to allow suc- cessful applicants to. make their hunting plans well in advance of the season, the New York State Conservation Department has arr~ . for electronic computer selection of all 1966 party permit applications .. No fees orbigg~e license is mailed with the application this year. and all applicants will be notified during Sept- ember. Although the Town Clerks w~xe to have ad- vaJlce information on this change, ·the local Clerk states that none has arrived at the Town office. at the time this goes to print.
