E. .church, complimented the ADVERTISER for its moral enterprise in publishing Br. Tidmage's sermons. It is published at Hammond, in this county. It is an eight page paper, with four columns to the page and starts out with a fair home advertising patronage and a good presenta- tion of local news.— St. Law, Pldindcnler. -The first and.second numbers of the : Hammond Advertiser have reached us. It is well edited, well printed and, into whosever hands it may fall, cannot fail of being well read. Its: editorial comment, and witicisms, excel those of many larger and more pretentious, journal's, while its. local page is interestingly made up.
