The last race of the season of the August championships of the Westhampton Country Club Yacht Squadron wns held on Saturday off Speonk shore. In the Moriches Bay one design class , \Malubar \ , own- ed by Robert Lee Gill , and \Ethel\ of Harold Medina, tied with 74 points for the season and will sail off the tie later on. In the Star Class, the championship was won by \Wings , \ owned and sailed by Carl and John Pflug, with 78 points. This boat will represent the South Shore in the International Star Class race series. For the Indian Class, Harry Meislahn ' s yacht , \Montauk , \ won with 77 points. ' Red Head, \ sailed by Howard E. Post , Jr., came out ahead with 80 points in the Shore Bird Class. Ruth Smith , with her No. 21 Marconi rigged sloop, took the title with 57 points. For the first and second divisions of the S. S. Class , Frances and Thomas Day in No. 67 , and Richard Feh- ner in No. 13 , won with 57 and 53 points , respectively. Because of the large number of boats in this S. S. Class , a third division was made with R. C. Stroud in No. 46 winning the title with 50 points. The annual commodore ' s day races will be sailed on September 12 , when the season officially closes. The ladies held the last race of the season on Wed nesday and the winners were Miss Janet Simes in \Avocet\ for the Shore Bird Class , Miss Dorothy Hall in No. 54 in the S. S.
