She has lately procured in the city 6f NeiV- We learn, says the American, that Mr. List, formerly a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the King of Wirtemburg, has recently arriv ed here with his family from Havre. ‘ From ap- prehensiuFtrof Mr. List’s influence in the Cham ber of Deputies, and fearing to hnd itself in a minority, .the ministry first imprisoned and then exiled this individual. Mexico. —A letter received in this city from Tampico, dated the 9th Ult. states that the Con gress of Puebla* has petitioned the Sovereign Congress at Mexico, to prohibit the importa- lioii of all coarse and cotton fi\brics, for the purpose of encouraging their own manufactures. The above mentioned property is situated in the town of Kinderhook, in the county of Columbia, about one mile east of the village of Kinderhook, at a flourishing place, called Vallitie, (or Millville,) on a never-failing stream of water. The dwelling house is a large, commodious, new, two story building, and, together with the outhouses, in good repair. The land is enclo sed by a good board fence, and in a high state of cultivation. In the Mill House is a run of stones for grind ing plaster, and corn. Two carding and one picking machine, and all the apparatus requi site for fijllin^j dressing and dying cloth. Two patent shearmg machines, and a large brass ket tle set in a furnace. Tlie situation of this property is very eligi ble, being about 6 miles from Stuyvesant Landing, surrounded by a populous country, possessing a great command of water power, and may with little expense be converted into a manufacturing.establishment of any description.
