There was another large offering of cheese at the Watertown Produce xchange on saturday, liver 5,00 boxes being repre- sented wore slow in considering any bids under last week's prices, but the buy» ers argnaed that the condition of the market would not warrgnut the prices paid last week,. as there was a feeling of uncertainty banging over the market which made any atreng price oitupessible. The bids on cheese were slow and slug- ish and stopped at Tc, and like grand- ather's clock it seemed, \never to go again.'' Butter commenced at l8¢ and ran up to 10c, which was refused~ Our salesmen think thefi are abused unless they can get more for butter and cheese than it's worth in New Yark. Large cheeso sold at .7%%c, twins at 74 to T%¢. Two or three weeks ngo it was mentioned that F. K. Moreland was in town and or- ganizing an insurance company among the roprietors of cheese factories.
