NEWS-DISPATCH, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 1930 Endicott Automobile Club Announces Plans For More Effective Service In 1931 PRESIDENT m ?M!1B As the new year approaches, Edward B. Furry, President of the Endicott Automobile Club, friending letters to the members of that organization qutlihmg; sev eral new features which will be added t& Wtosi already extended those who have joined the club. The Auto CJnb, during the past year, «has been instrumental in obtaining many -inrportant in* provements in roan cuudiQMis f in ihe vicinity of Endicott. The recent new road from Vestal to Vestal Center which was open- ••A late this summer with a Good will run sponsored by the club is but one of the many projects which was given its initial im petus by the organization. The new three-strip road from Johnson City to Endicott, which it is expected will be started in the rarly Spring of 1931, will form a link with the Campville toad to Owego, thus placing En dicott on the' shortest route from New York to Buffalo and points West Both of these roads were obtained by the tireless work of member* and executors of the dub. Work in grading the bed of the Campville road has been complet ed through the section from that village to the western intersection lof the Day Hollow road, and the remaining portions of the chain] linking Endicott with Owego will be started next Spring and the complete oroute finished before the \ w ^oter .tj£?331 it is .planned. - .- Another-~-improveitt«nt -li&ieh: fans been proposed by, the Club is tbe widening, straightening and r.-paving of the ptebuut road frorof, the village of -Maine to the village of Lisle. This if properly im proved would become the' main thoroughfare from points in Northern New York, by virtue of the fact that a new road in Penn sylvania connects with the Vestal Center road. Thus the ambitious -planning of the Endicott Automobile Club is rapidly placing Endicott on many main routes, mcreaslhg tourist trade and the Endicott trading area. Sort of team work after all DR CALDWELL'S THREE RULES Dr. Caldwell watched the re sults of constipation for 47 years, and believed that no matter how careful people are of their health, diet and exercise, constipation -ill occur from time to time. Of next importance, then, is how to treat it when it comes. Dr. Caldwell always was in favor of getting as close to nature as pos aible, hence his remedy for consti pation is a mild vegetable com pound. It can not harm the most delicate system and is not habit forming. The Doctor never did approve of drastic physics and pnrges. He did not believe they were good for human beings to put into their system.
