News was received here the last of the week of the d&atfr of Clarence Barnes at his home in Methuen, Mass. «Mr. Barnes -was formerly a resident Of this place and has many friends here who were saddened upon hearing of his death. It is expected that the body will be brought here for burial in the spring.
