Zeck- wer, assistant director of the Philadel- phia Musical Academy and for many years in charge of'imisic at Cliff Hav- en. The artists who took part were; Soprano, Miss May Farley; contralto, Miss Elizabeth Bonner; baritone, Mr. Donald Redding; violin, Miss Alma Grafe; piano, Mr. Camilla W. Zeck- wer. On Saturday morning Cliff Haven So- ciety received a surprise when Dr. William T, Manus and Mrs. Elizabeth Byrne were quietly married in the chapel and slipped away before any one knew that anything out of the ordinary was happening. The cere- mony was performed by the Rt. Rev. John P. Chidwick, D.D., prsident of tho Sumuiec School. choir of a prominent church. She has! been soloist with the best known or- chestras and each season gives con- certs throughout the country undor tho leading musical auspices. Miss Baker is also widely known because of the large number of records which she has made for the Victor Talking Machine Company. They have earn- ed her an even wider public. William Durieux, 'cellist, was born in The Hague, Holland, and was for a number of years a professor in the noted Royal Conservatory of Tho Hague. He has appeared as soloist with the Lamoureux Orchestra of Paris. In this country he has appear- ed with Walter Datnrosch, Modest Alt- schuler, Victor Herbert and Max Fied- ler. For sometime past he has been 'cello soloist for the Kallenborn String Quartet.
