Gleason, of this village, and Ralph Hudson, of Troy, was won by Gleason after a close contest. —The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Oderkirk Pine, the wife of James Pine, ecciirred Saturday afternoon from the residence of her grandson, Chas. L. Pine, No. 851 Second avenue. Mrs. Pina died Thurs day evening aged 78 years. —Joseph Laundrey, a Mechanioville harness maker, was found in the north ern part of this village early Monday morning suffering from heart failure. He said he was on his way to the hos pital. He was assisted to his destination, —Albert Thomas died Wednesday afternoon a t his home, 640 Fourth ave nue, after a three weeks’ illness with typhoid fever. Deceased was a veteran of the rebellion and a member ot Posl Bolton. He is survived by his wife and one brother, Frank Thomas, of Troy. —When the election day assault case of Calvin E.
