-NEW AND IMPORTANT Dug DR. HALSEY'S '.Patent Gold and Silver Magnetic Pills. VALUABLE discovery consists of two medicinal preparations, viz. theGold. \ or Positive, and\ the Silver, or Negative Pills, One or more of each class being taken together dissolve in the stomach; their properties be- eoming thus infused together generate a Mag- netic action, whose influence passes to every part of the system purifies the blood, and ar- rests the course of disease. To many this singular effect would appear almost incredible, were it not well established, ' from the fact that the Gold and Silver Pills ta- ken together, are nearly five times more bene- fictal than the same number of either class Were they to be taken seperately. . In some instances, sensations of a singular nature passing to every extremity of the sys- tem, are experienced by the patient after hav- ing taken the Pills. 'This, however, in never injurious in the slightest degree, or even disa- greeable to the patient, It being nothing more than the slight electrical influence in the ner- vous system and blood. | Notwithstanding, it is without doubt, this influence, thowever small it may appear to be, which gives theGold and Silver Pills power of curing disease never be- fore possessed by any other medicine. The ingredients of this extraordinory med- icine are entirely vegetable, with the sole ex- ception of a small proportion of prepared gold and silver; which is in all cases perfectly harmless, although its combination with the peculiar vegetable properties of the Pills greatly increase their value. Learned Physicians have long been aware that gold and silver possess great medicinal virtue; and had they but known the peculiar vegetable substances with which it is combin- ed in the Gold and Silver Pills, thousands of the sick would have been restored to health, who, otherwise, for the want of an efficient remedy, have prematurely gone to the grave. This remarkable medicine is put up in box- es containing twenty-four pills each, or eight of the CGtold and sixteen of the Silver, in every box. . The Gold and SilverPills neither cause gri- ping or inconvenience, nor have they any taste of medicine whatever, but are easter'and inore pleasant to take than Sugar-coated Pills : while in point of medicinal virtue, they will admit of no comparison with that article, or any other medicine. They are also the cheapest pills in the world, because one box will;effect more good than can be expected from a dozen boxes of any other eclass, while the price of them is no more, being sold at onlyTWENTY-FIVECENTS per box, containing both kinds. Upwards of 'Fhree Hundredcertificates and Letters recommending and testifying to the great virtues and unparaleiled cures made by the \Gorn ano SinvEr PILLS,\ and \ Forest Wine,\ have been received within the short space of three months, and may be seen at the Proprietor's Establishment, No 2 Cortlandt street, New York. Some of which it will be seen are from the most distinguished Physi- cians, Members of the Bar, and Clergymen, An extensive list of them are now in process of publishing; in order to show to the world the amount of good performed by these medi- cines in less than a half year's time. Manufactured from the combined virtues of the SARSAPARILLA, DANDELION, WILT) CHERRY and several exotic plants unknown except to the proprietor of Hiatsecy's Forest Wane, New Chemical process for separeting the true medicinal virtues of vegetable sub- stances from their inert properties gives to the FOREST WINE, ADVAaANTAGQRs OVER ALL OTHER KNGWN MEDI CINES. It is well known to good Chemiststhat all vegetable substances contain more or less deleterious properties, as well as medicinal virtuas. Those opposite qualities which are diffused together in every root, plant and blossom, remain inseparable in the ex- tracts, as obtained by the usual methods of boiling, &c. rendering all medicines thus prepared, inert and in many cases either in. Jjurious or altogether useless, This accounts in a great measure for the inefficiency of so many medicines in curing the diseases which they profess to cure. It ss very different wito the Forest Wine. By means of a wonderful chemical apparatus, invented for the cxpreas purpose of manufacturing the Forest Wine, the entire virtues of the most, valuable combinations of plants ever dis—1 covered is obtained. pure and free from ev- ery properly but those which act in unity, and harmonize with the constitution of the human frame. This renders the Forest Wine the most excellent and truly valuable medicine in the world, at the same time it is flavored with the very best Port Wine It is most distinguished for its great effi- cacy in renewing worn out constitutions, and general ill health, preceeding from ner- vous disorders. complaints of the stomach, liver, heart and kidnies, including costive- ness, dyspepsia, indigestion, loss of appe- tite, and a debilitated state of the system. A free use of the Forest Wine restores in- valids of this class to the most robust, strong and vigorous health» It also has proved highly useful in restoring invalids in a ling- ering state, after severe attacks of sick- ness. The Forest Wine is recommended in the strongest terms for jaundice, affections of the liver and for persons of bilious habits. For these afflicting cases. which shorten the days of thousands, this article is a good and effective remedy. It corrects the secre- sional use of the Forest wine never get bil- ious. The Forest Wine has been found the fi- nest thing in the world for Females. Be- sides curing those complainis that are pecu. liar to the fairer sex, it strengthens and im- proves the general state of the constitution, changing a pallid, yellow. sickly visage to that of a bright, animated color, and in the place of hypocondrial feelings, gives firm- ness and cheerfulness to the mind. The Forest Wine, although pleasant and agreeable to the taste, is singularly effica- cious in purifying the Blood, and cures most effectually that class of complaints which a- risa from a bad sta.o of the blood, such as scrofula, erisipelas. salt rheuuwr, cancer, &c. It never yet has been known to fail, when persevered in for a proper length of time, in effecting the most permanent cure of these deep-rooted diso.ders.
