The Delaware and Hudson Canal Co. are paying the parties of whom they huy coal,’ two dollars and thirty cents per ton delivered in the cars. The Del aware, Lackawanna and Western Kail- road Company pay about two dollars & fifty cents, and can get as much as they Want. Outsiders can buy it for 3 dollars and fifty cents, but there is no means of transportation. Coal may be bought, of bringing it to but there is no way of New York. The companies just named control all the means of communication, and they will not carry coal for other parties.
