The present structure on . Jackson avenue will be moved and the new school will be placed on its site. The old one was built twenty-seven years ago, but is still in very good condition. Last year the registration suddenly in- creased from eighty-nine pupils to 149 and the State Department of Educa- tion notlfled the local Board of Educa- tion that the district would have to pro- vide more room. It recommended a new building. Seaford, like most other towns on the Island within the commuting district, is filled up. Not a house, not a room, is for rent, and few or no new places can be purchased. Nelther is the out- look for building this spring bright, in- vestors feeling, in common with inves- tors all over the land, that if they build while: labor and raw material prices are as high as they are they will have unprofitable investments on their hands later on, Experienced real estate men look for a gradual slough- ing off in rentals as other prices re- cede. _-___4____ MOTHER AND 8 CHILDREN ILL Large Family In Ocean Side Suffering!
