Robert Schmitt, president of the Nyack Taxpayers' Assbciaticn and Daniel J. Shea, president of the Nyack Husineiui men ’ s Associa tion, got together last night, and found that there was plenty wrong with Nyack and iU residents. * Thf occasion on which the two ^ ___ ‘ cumpaignerM for civic awakening; joined handt'^, was a “ very impor-1 tant ’ ’ meeting of. the Nyack Husl- nes« Men ’ s Afutociation held at the village hall, which six men, in all, attended. This discouraging ut- tcndanc > has become quite ordin ary *aUly, and by the tenor ot Shea's remarks last night, unless the members turn out and support the organization which they form- v(l, it is likely to fall by the way side. Thrsatens Libel Action When Mrs. Allen was first ar raigned on the charges, she was bitter in her protest that the facts had appeared in the Journal and she threatened a libel action against the paper.
