Interment followed in St. Charles Cemetery, Fanningdale. Edward Doyle Edward J. Doyle, 74, of Central Islip died on October 2. He is survived by his wife, Lillian; children, Sharon Sisson, Jeanne Frazer and Lisa Beaulieu; brothers, Thomas, Charles and William Doyle and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Robert Doyle. Funeral services were arranged by Moloney's Funeral Home, Inc., Central Islip. Interment was in St. John of God Cemetery, Central Islip. Florence Fox Florence H. Fox, 75, of Sayville, died on October 8. Born in New York, she had lived in Sayville for over 20 years, and had been a volunteer for Sayville Cabinet for the Sick. Mrs. Fox is survived by her children, Donald, of Sparks, Nevada, Richard of Trumbull, Connecticut, Katherine of Patchogue and Patricia Lynch, of Rocky Point and her granddaughter, Chelsea Fox. Mrs. Krueger is survived by one granddaughter; her nephew, Robert Waldbauer of Patchogue; and several other nieces and nephews from out of state. She is predeceased by her son, Jolm A Krueger (Jack). Religious services were h-eld at the Ruland Fqneral Home, Reverend Renwick Jackson, of the Congregational Church of Patchogue, officiated. Interment followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue. Thurber, Sr., 89, former1y of Brightwaters, died on October3at Lake Almanor, California w:here he 'had resided with his wife, Beryl since 1977. Born and raised in Bay Shore, Mr. Thurber was a graduate of Pratt Institute where be majored in mechani- cal engineering. Upon graduation, he worked with his father,James, a ,promi- nent architect 'and' builder of many homes in Bay Shore and Brightwaters. In 1937, he Joined the Long Island LightiRg Company, working in theengi- neering department, from wbichb:e retired as manager of the Mechanical Design Division in 1970. Mr. 'Thurber was a member 'af the American Socie~ of Mechanical Engineers and also was active in church and communityaff8irs. He was a member of the Bay Shore Fire Department, serving at one time as cap- tain of Hose Company No. land, even- tually, in exempt status. He also served as president of the Oakwood Cemetery Association and, as a life-long member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, held positions as trustee and moderator. He is survived by his wife, Beryljsons, Hany,Jr. and Calvin; daughters-in-law, Nancy and .MariIyn; brother, Hilliard; sister-in-law, Ruth; grandchildren, Susan Paine, CalvinSeott, Jr. and Lori Monis and eightgreat-grandcbildren.
