Soper, Rodgers are nam e d w inners of Ithaca Scholarship ITHACA — Ithaca College has chosen Paul Soper of Penn Yan and Jennifer Rodgers as this year’s recipients of the Roberta P e te rs Scholarship. Awarded annually since 1978, the scholarship is given to a n outstanding vocal student in the School of Music and is made possible by gifts from Roberta Peters, an honorary trustee and friend of Ithaca College. Soper, a member of the class of 1992, is mqjoring in vocal performance in the School of Music, where he has been repeatedly named to the Dean’s List. A tenor, he has been a member of the chorus, the string orchestra, the Madrigal Singers and the choir. He was also cast in campus produc tions of The Magic Flute and Die Fledermaua. A graduate of Penn Yan Academy, Soper is the son of Howard and Irene Soper of Penn Yan.
