Com- bine snow and the feminine love of clothes and what do you get? SU outfits, of course. Tuesday at the Officers Wives Hail and Farewell coffee, the ladies were treated to a look* see at the very latest in styles for the fashion minded ski en- thusiast. Mrs. Janet Mitchell from Mitchell's SU «hop coordinat- ed the fashion show. With the help of some members of the Officers Wives Club, the inter- ested spectators learned Just how to make an Impression on ttr sW slopes this winter All the styles were appropri- ate for watching as well as par- ticipating in this well known ar- ea pastime. All the new odors were shown in sport clothing and the newest thing is knickers, shown with contrasting sweater and knee sock sets. Fur hats are still very much in style. The knitted toques with a pom pon or tassel are back. Mix them or match them just about anything goes on the slopes this year. Just be sure It is warm, pretty, and serv- Iceable. Who knows, even you may take a spill. The new stretch fabrics will not break your fall but they will lend that little extra give you need to keep from ripping a seam. SEAL OF APPROVAL — Mrs. Senile Zimmer shews the seal skin after-ski boots that may be worn anywhere to keep the toes toasty and warm. They are from Norway and have tie fronts and colorful braid trim.
