They will perform Handel’s Messiah and Bach’s Magnificat directed by Dr. Ma rie Drohan and accompanied by soloists, trumpeters and the Sophisticated Strings and will feature Ron Meixsell singing The Trumpet Shall Sound. Imme diately preceding the concert will be a candlelight process lead by Msgr. Rev. Chris Heller. Hosted by actor and filmmaker Yang Miller, The Student Lens is devoted to highlighting videos created; produced, written and edited by high school students from across the tri-state area. Check local listings for air dates in December. Episode 2 features 10 videos from students in the tri-state area including Bay Shore High School; Bay Shore vs. Copiague and Lindenhurst Gymnastics cre ated by Morgan Varone at Bay Shore High School. He shot and edited this video about the Bay Shore\ High School girls’ varsity gymnastics squad competing against teams from Copiague and Lindenhurst. The coach and several students are interviewed.
