Filled with pride and emotion, Bob graciously acknowledged his wife who he says does all the work - writing grants, organizing - while he does all the talking. Rose Ann added that she saw a need to bring more cultural events to the village and south shore and this just seemed like a good fit The Normans are not only cultural enthusiasts, but entrepreneurs as well. They own Babylon Paint and Hardware, and for tfie past 20 years, Rose Ann has been the owner and operator of the Village Learning Center. This is in addition to serving as a teacher and coordinator of the Learning Center at Bay Shore High School. The center focuses on intervention strategies for juniors and seniors. Babylon is volunteer village remarked Mayor Scordino, during the award presentation. He noted that Rose Ann and Bob are two of the most deserving volunteers the village has.
