Legislator Steve Stern partners with Lindsay to bring school supplies to the homeless Suffolk County Legislator Steve Stern (D-Huntington) 16th LD, is partnering with Presiding Officer William Lindsay of the Suffolk County Legislature to bring school supplies to more than 300 home less children throughout Suffolk County. Please participate by dropping off supplies to Legislator Stern’s district office, 1842 E. Jericho Tpke., Huntington. “I am ask ing our community to help collect school supplies because it is important for all children to start off the school year right. Please help this worthy cause by donating these much needed supplies,” said Legis lator Stern. The deadline is Aug. 6. Suggested supplies include some o f the following: 4 oz.
