As part of the ceremonies for the opening Old Town Hall, Babylon Town Supervisor Steve Bellone recognized those Town employees, volunteers and contractors who helped complete the project. Among those recognized were: Phil Berdolt and Leo Sottile of Public Works; Dave Proulx, electrical services supervisor who refurbished the lights; Kathy Lincy of General Services and Peter Casserly who oversaw the restoration work. The project’s general contractor Stalco C o n s truction and its President Alan Nahmais, Vice President Kevin Kunathan, Project Manager Joe Galvin and Project Superintendent Tom Dowsdell were given a round of applause. Plumbing and Heating was completed by Connelly & Sons, Kyran Connelly, president, and Kyran Connelly Jr. The electrical contractor on the job was LE.B. Electric, Brian Chiarcichella and Chris Rueb and Sidney B. Bowne & Son were the engineers, Joe Todaro & John Ziegler. Recognized, too, with a resounding round of applause was the Town’s Historical Archivist Mary Cascone, Town’s Historical Society President Tom Smith and the Historic Preservationist on the project Joel Snodgrass. Trolleys were provided by North Fork Trolley Company. “None of this would have been possible without them,” said Bellone as he welcomed each one to stand with him on the newly restored court bench in Old Town Hall.
