The theme is Dreams including sleeping dreams, daydreams, dreams for the future, whatever comes to the mind of the artist. All two dimensional work is welcome ex cept photography or computer generated im ages. Entries arelimited to two per artists, size limit is no more than 30” x 40” including frame. There is a $15 entry fee for each piece, $5 for m em bers who volunteer to staff the gallery for a total six hours during the show. The Amityville Artists Circle will be receiving art work at the Circle Gallery, 186 Broadway, (Route 110) Amityville, next to Vittorio’s on Mon., May 17, noon to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Pick up for works not selected by the judge Will be on Wed. May 19,10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The opening reception will be Held Sat., May 22 7 to 9 p.m. and is open to the public. Babylon Village Arts Council Outdoor E xhibit M ay 15 The Babylon Village Arts Council, a not-for profit community organization, invites Long Island artists to exhibit their work at its Third Annual Outdoor Art Exhibit entitled Art by the Falls to be held on Sat., May 15 with a rain date of Sun., May 16. Exhibition time will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., not including set up /breakdown time. Artists must submit up to three examples o f their work (all media) in JPEG format on CD, between 500K and 1 MB along with a bio/state- ment and $25 application fee for non-members and $20 application fee for members, no later than April 10. If you have previously submitted examples of your work, then send application andfee only. \ St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Senior Choir Music Series The St Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church Senior Choir from, Lindenhurst will be holding the second of two musical performances this spring. Pianist Daniel Berman will be performing compositions by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, Pabst and Gershwin with a special tribute to Earl Wild. The performance will be held Sim., May 23,4 p.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 36 East John St., Lindenhurst. There will be the opportunity to meet the artist at a reception immediately following the performance. Advanced tickets are $10 per person and are available at the Church office, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. at the Dover Street entrance.
