To present to the voters a detailed statement (proposed budget) of the amount of money which will be required for the 2010-2011 fiscal year. 2. To adopt the annual bud get o f the School District for the fiscal year 2010-2011 and to authorize the requisite portion thereof to be raised by taxation on the taxable property o f the District. 2. AND FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, Pursuant to Ghapter 258 o f the Laws of 2008, Section 495 was added to the Real Property Tax Law and requires the School Dis trict to attach to its proposed budget an exemption report. Said exemption report, which will also become part of the final budget, will show how the total assessed value o f the final assessment roll used in the budgetary process is ex empt from taxation, list every type o f exemption granted by statutory authority, and show the cumulative impact of each type of exemption, the cumulative amount expected to be received as payments in lieu of taxes (PILOT) and the cumulative impact of all exemptions granted. In ad dition, said exemption report shall be posted on any bul letin board maintained by the District for public notices and on any website maintained by the District. AND FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that peti tions nominating candidates for the office of member of the Board of Education shall be filed with the Clerk of said School District in the North Babylon School District Busi ness Office, 5 Jardine Place, North Babylon, New York, not later than Monday, April 19, 2010, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., prevailing time. Vacancies on the Board of Education are considered separate, specific offices. A separate nominating peti tion is required to nominate a candidate to each separate specific office. The nominat ing petition shall describe the length of the term of office and contain the name of the last incumbent. The nominat ing petition must be directed to the Clerk of the District and must be signed by at least 30 qualified voters o f the District (representing the greater of 25 qualified voters or 2% of the number of voters who voted in the previous annual election); must state the name and residence of each signer, and, must state the name and residence o f the candidate.
