Is APPROVED Lake George Residents Favor Re- moval of Narrow Culvert at Highway Intersection The suggestion by The Times to do away with the culvert at the in-. tersection of the Glens Falls and Lu- zerne highways, near this village, will ccceive the support of the residents of Lake George, according to state- ments made this morning by village leaders. The culvert, which is unnecessary since the abandonment of trolley service, if removed, would eliminate one of the most dangerous spots in the highway system of the county and one where accidents have fre- quently happeened. As suggested an The Times last evening, the state could remove the culvert and widen the road at that and dirt to fill in the side of the state highway at the curve. It is expected that the local Board of Trade will recommend that action to the State Department of High- ways. DANCING CLASS TO BE SPONSORED BY ASSOC. 'The Parent-Teachers Association of Lake George is sponsoring a danc- ing class which will be conducted in the High school gymnasium. There will be a class for children in the afternoon and one for the older ones in the evening. Classes in stage dancing, ballroom and toe dancing will be given.
