£ \THE GLENS FALLS TIMES, SATURDAY, - DECEMBER 31, 1927 | f\ The \Warren county tuberculosis sanatorium, Westmount located in Gurney Lane, a project that has teen before the people of the county \ for nearly 20 years, is to be opened. to the, public for inspection Monday from 1 to 4 p. m. - The superintendent and members of the board of man» agers extend an invitation to the public to visit the modernly-equip- ped institution which is to receive its first patxents on January 3. \The agitation for a county hospital was first started many years ago by a' small group of citizens interested in the battle against tuberculosis, Whe board of supervisors was ap» pealed to to establish such an insti- tution and aftér some years a com- mittee was appointed to select a site. 'The first committee was unable to ugree as to a location for the propos» ed hospital and so reported to the board. Later the board purchased the.
