Clinton Smith and Willis G. Pettit of Glens Falls were brought before Justice of the Peace Richards and fined $5. Later William L, Durkee of Fort Ed- ward also was obliged to give up $5 for the same reason. Henry F. Sprott of Saratoga, who was later arrested, willingly paid the rmount of $5, stating he was without r speedometer and stated that the officer made no mistake. Carl Bronte of the shirt company pleaded not guilty and his case was adjourned. The citizens of the village are well pleased that such rigid measures ars being employed to bring all offenders to Justice.
