Tintsman of Pasadena, Cal, and-Miss Antabel Sol ly ofthis city, who are passing the summer at Lake George, were Glens Falls visitors Thursday. * FIREWORKS AT THE PARK DISCONTINUED Owing to the fact that the city health authoriti¢s have notified the Hudson Valley Railway company not to admit children under.sixteen years of age to League, park. the company has decided to discontinug for an in- definite period the series of fireworks and band concerts planned for this month and next month. The notite was served on the rail- 'way company shortly before 6 o'clock 'yesterday afternoon and consequent. Iy the officials of the company were badly handicapped: as it was impossi- 'ble for them to publish any notices in rcecordance with the health order. As m result hundreds of péople with thildren were disappointed. Cooduct' wrs were kept busy explaining the or: der to patrons and many people gave up the trip to the park for last night's entértainment. Many others went to the park and were refused admission. Fully 2500 persons enjoyed the fire works and band concért last evening.
