Fail Festival Sept 6 and 7 Selkirk Volunteer Fire Company No. 2, Glenmont, will present its first \Fall Festival\ at the firehouse and adjoining grounds on Route 32, one- half mile from intersection of Routes 9-W and 32, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 6 and 7. Events will include a record hop Friday evening from 7 o'clock to mid- night, as well as games of skill and refreshments. Commencing at noon Saturday there will be a country auc- tion and bake sale. Refreshments, games of skill, etc., will- be available throughout the day for everyone's en- joyment. The finale will be round and square dancing in the evening. Members of the, fire company have labored diligently for the past few weeks on this event and invite every- one to the festival for an enjoyable time. Win Ribbons At Fair Several of the members of the Elm Avenue Elves 4-H Club attended the Altamont Fair last week. Thirteen members had 76 entries, including five demonstrations. Three girls- act- ed as junior superintendents. They received 17 blue, 34 red and 19 green awards. Their club exhibit brought them a blue award. Joan Prusik will demonstrate Dan- ish pastry today at the State Fair in Syracuse. She is also entering yeast rolls.
