BLUE AND GOLD BANQUET Pack 51, Altamont Cub Scouts, held its blue and gold banquet on Thursday, Feb. 21, 'at St. John's Lu- theran church. Many thanks are due the cub mothers for the fine supper, especially Mrs: Kaasa, Mrs. Whipple, Mrs. Croff and Mrs. Hopper, who worked' in the kitchen. Fathers and sons enjoyed singing old favorite songs under the direction of John Schilling with Mrs. Eleanor Ricker at the piano. ' Welcomed into the pack as bob- cats were Larry Claus, Richard White and Mark Keenholts. Awards presented were: Wolf badges to Jimmy Moshier, Tommy Wormer and John Schilling. Tommy 'and John also earned gold arrow points. Under wolf: Earl Mabie earned gold arrow, one silver; Bobby Stewart, gold, one silver; Stephen Ricker, gold, two silver. Bear badges went to Stephen Rogers and Tommy Armstrong. Tom- my also received a gold arrow 'and a silver arrow. Under bear: Craig Peters earned a sliver arrow and Rickey Rowley a gold arrovw.
