Smith reccived a spe- cral award for having earned a possible sx letters out of mane durnrg his school «career and it was noted that he had earned that many by the close of his jumor year, He also received a stauctte from A & S. for his All-Star rat- ing. Faustich awards were that of attaining the highest swholarship marks of any athlete and for hs All-Star rating. He carned var- sity CHC in football, basketball and baseball. _ Gulloth also re- ceived a special - athlete-scholar award. He was awarded varsity letters in football and baseball. Sammis was given a statuette for mnm All-Star rating in football. He also was given his letter for track. Members of the fencing team received several trophies and oth- er awards. These included - a large trophy for winning the C. W.
