LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE New York State Electric & Gas Corporation has filed to become effective April 28,1966, subject to acceptance by the Public Ser- vice Commission, a new Electric Rate Schedule designated as P.S. C. No. 113, applicable in its Binghamton, East Central, Elmira, Ithaca, North Central, Northeast and Southeast Areas. This schedule provides new and revised rates as follows: Service Classification No. 1, applicable to residential service throughout the entire territory, is the ,same as Service Classifica- tion No. 2 of superseded P. S. C. No. 112, except the second block of 43 KWH has been reduced from 4. 8<j: to 4. 44 net per KWH, also in Special Provision (b) applica- ble to space heating the charge for use over 550 KWH per month has been reduced from 1.5$ to 1.3$ net per KWH. Service Classification No. 2, applicable to small general ser- vice throughout the entire terri- tory, is the same as Service ClassificationNo. 4 of superseded P.S. C. No. 112, except the sec- ond block of 88 KWH has been re- duced from 4. 75$ to 4. 35$ net per KWH, also in Special Pro- vision (a) applicable to space heating the charge has been re- duced from 1.5$ to 1. 3$ net per KWH, and the minimum charge under this provision has been changed to exclude the first 5 KW of demand. Service Classification No. 3, applicable to large general ser- vice throughout the entire terri- tory, with a minimum demand of 50 KW, is basically the same as Service Classification No. 5 of superseded P. S. C. No. 112, except the rates per month have been changed to provide a net demand charge of: First 100 KW at $1.10 per KW, next 14,000 KW at $1.00 per KW, over 15, - 000 KW at $0. 90 per KW, plus a net energy charge per month of: First 10,000 KWH at 1.8$ per KWH, next 190,000 KWH at 1.2$ per KWH, over 200,000 KWH at 1.0$ per KWH; except over 200 hours' use and up to 350 hours' use of billing demand at 0. 8$ per KWH, over 350 hours' use and up to 500 hours' use of billing demand at 0. .7$ per KWH, all over 500 hours' use of billing demand at 0. 6$ per KWH. Under the Determination of Demand a provision has b een added which provides that if a customer provides generation for a portion of his load and his gen- eration is in parallel with the Corporation's system, the billing demand will be that contracted for unless exceeded by the meas- \ ured billing demand at which time the increased demand will be the billing demand for twelve months or until again exceeded. In no case will the billing de- mandbe lessthanthe lowest max- imum measured billing demand during the twelve months previous to and including the current month, plus the KW name plate, capacity of the customer's gen- erating equipment. Service Classification No. 6 of P.S. C. No. 112, applicable to small power in the Granville and PlattsburghDistrictshasbeen dis- continued; customers previously served on this classification will hereafter be served on the new small general Service Classifica- tion No. 2 or the large general Service Classification No. 3 of P. S. C. No. 113. Service Classification Nos. 4 and 5 of P. S. C. This year's show features the Plattsburgh Chorus and three quartets; The Impromptones, The Northway Four and The Klose Korders. There will be two guest quartets; The Jolly Whalers and The Yankee Doodles. - The Jolly Whalers are from New Bedford, Mass. They were organ- ized in 1946, and though the years have brought several changes in the personnel of the quartet, they still sing \the old songs\ in true Barbershop style. The Jolly Whalers have partici- pated i n many contests, both District and International, and have always maintained a high standard of performance. The quartet placed second in the Northeastern District Quartet Contest which was held in Prov- idence, R.I. in November 1965. Ed J. Stetson, Tenor, operates a Personals Mr. and Mrs. Emile Tetreault and family have returned to Syra- cuse after spending the Easter holidays with her father, Mr. Alex Rabideau, gasoline service station; Robert E. Jellison, Lead, is an insurance agent; William I. Morse, Bari, is an engineer; and Baptiste Ba- lestracci, Bass, is a purchasing agent. The Yankee Doodles are from Burlington, Vt. They have been singing as a quartet for nearly three years and are diligently working to please audiences wherever they appear. Wes Ap- plegate is in his 41st year of singing for audiences and his own pleasure. He sings bass in the quartet along with his son, Jim, who sings tenor. Father and son are partners in the Arc-Rite Welding Fabricators, Inc. of Colchester, Vt. Ray Miller, baritone, is a tool maker with Faulus Tool and Dye Co. in Winooski, Vt. Ray is President of the Burlington Chapter, SPEB- SQSA. Lead is Al Vigneau who is the Director of Nursing at the Vermont Rehabilitation Center.
