Dorothy Tutin, one of England's most brilliant young actresses, making her American net- work television debut, heads the distinguished quartet of per- formers from the Royal Shakespeare Company. All appeared in the American stage production of The Hollow Crown.\ The four stars are American stage production of The Hollow Crown.\ The four stars are supported by three noted British singers, tenor Stephen Manton, baritone John Lawrenson and bass Richard Golding, with James Walker as the instru- mentalist at the piano and harpsi- chord. They, too, appeared in the U.S. productions. The Hollow Crown;,\ which was devised by Barton, a former Cam- bridge University don, is described as a \wedding between sound and vision...a royal revue s an en- tertainment by and about the Kings and Queens of England.\ The pro- duction covers the panorama of English history from the Saxon kings to Queen Victoria, with the poetry, speeches, letters and other' writings about the British monarchs and by the royal parti- cipants themselves. The stars- appear in modern evening dress and play their scenes within one stylized setting. Each segment is punctuated by the music and songs of the particular period. Refinishing If you are refinishing wood- work, make sure all traces of wax have been removed and that any still-glossy surface has been sanded. Otherwise, the new coat- ing will not adhere firmly. If you are going to use enamel or semi- gloss, remember to apply an undercoater first. CHANDLER-FORRENCE Agency, Inc. Established in 1926 Representing THE TRAVELERS, Hartford, Ct.
