House Unit Takes Slap AtResnick WASHINGTON i.AP) -- The House Agriculture Committee overwhelmingly took a slap to- day at Rep. Joseph Y. Resnick, D-k.Y.. who has tangled with the American Farm Bureau Federation. After a nearly two-hour closed meeting the committee voted 27- 11 for a resolution which said it .''does in no manner endorse. condone or support any personal attack launched by the chair- man of the subcommittee on ; rural development upon any iperson or organization.'' Two Ogdensburg area rest dents have been awarded academic scholarships by The State University College at Pots- dam, where they will enter the freshman class in September. Paul Russell, R.D. 1, Ogdens- burg, will enroll in Potsdam's liberal arts curriculum, with a major in social studies, Kevin Moore, Lisbon, will enrol) in Potsdam's Crane department of music, where he will specialize in piano and minor in baritone horn and trombone.
