It has long beeu a matter oi serious consideration and regret that no one has un dertaken to do any thing to case thoee horrid suf ferings. How many cases of this kind has there been on the Hudson river since the. Cmef Justice was blown up at Newburgh7 Loolc again on the Mississippi River, how many hundreds are there daily blown up and not a hand raised to relieve the suflerers. Is this all? No! We seldom look at a public print but we find the frightful detail of wo men or children being destroyed by their clothes taking fire, and not any of those details where the ufterers have survived more than three to fifteen hours, and all swept with the besom of destruction from Maine to Louisiana no arm Has ever called uny remedy into requisition that could be relyed on to stop this destroyer. Many think now they can cure a burn, almost all have their own remedy which they rely on. Those I ask one quesrion— Suppose you w&re burnt in a mass from head to foot, would you run the risk of life on yourprescrjp- tion? I will risk mine in any possible ca.*e if not burnt internally and life close in nn hour it will cure without full. And some ofthe worst hums evei known to llie human futnily, where, to ull appearance, life would end in un hour, they have been raised in a sur prising short time. The Eleci tuory will cause hut little trouble or inconvenience when taken, and in any cuse,no.mutter how* bad, wilh perfect a total and permanent extirpation of piles, and its ntiended ailments, Jn Boston,in tho short1 space of two years. NEARLY t h r e e THOUSAND SURE CURES1 were effected,^ and in New-York there have been, we do not hesitate to say five times that number achieved in the same space of time* The inventor of the Electuary, which so thoroughly conquers what has ever (and does now) baffled the skill and ex perience of the medical fraernily, is a practising physician.. His studious habits at College induced* the terrible complaint, and it was to relieve his own. sufferings lhat he expended the time and study which* produced a blessing to the community at large in the- shape.of ihe Electuary, There are many causes of piles. Jnsome persons5 the complaint is abequest from their ancestors; the greatest cause of piles isl^e use of violent purgatives in the shape of pills! Aloes form a principal n gradi ent of these purging pellets, and alo^s invariably in flame and irritate the alimentary canal, weaken the stomach and bowels, and shake the whole constitu tion! Strong drinks also produce pries. Inactivity and longsiltings have the same tendency. No matter what the cause, the proprietors of the Electuary war rant a COMPLETE RESTORATION, if the Electuary is used according to directions, and the use pf it is persisted in ! Numerous cases of a cure by ONE BOX have come to our knowledge, hut it must not he presumed ilmt w here an individual, has been afflicted nearly hulfthetermofa naturalliie that a single box will always produce a cure, In New Jersey a farmer who had endured the torture twelve years, waa entirely restored after using only three boxes, which cost niin as many dollars, tie had previously fxpended as many hundred in search after a remedy, A gentleman of New-York wus radically cured by HALF A BOX, and eight persons to whom he reccommended tho medicine were also cured, not a single fuiiurehuying occurred. A remedy like this, invaluable nnd isolated, should not be suspiciously viewed becuuse it is advertised.— It is the only inulhod.of making the public in remote vicinities aware ofM^exjgbence. . The Electuary contains riothijig that cgn injure in the slightest degice. It is enlirely fiee from mineral buhsinnces, and inay be taken without change of diet, without fear of taking cold, and by ladies in any con dition of life. In fact to married ladies under certain circumstances it ensures tiie birth of sound and heal thy offspring. It is tuketi internally; nnd patients may resi convinced ilmt no external application can accomplish the desired end* The Electuary, although explicitly sold as a certain and unfailing remedy for P1LKS ! ! !ls, neverthe less, capital in inflammations ofthe liver, spleen, kid neys, bladder, bowels, inactivity of the bowels and stomach, weakness of the spine,.in*eras) ulcerations and impurities, rush of blood to the head, tec., h )1 of which troubles arc cither productive of, or the conse quences attendant on, lhat shocking and obstinate disease. 3FJEMAM3S. During gestation, me frequent sunjects of Hemor rhoid*. or Pries; nnd suffer much fiom constipation ofthe bowels, ns well as the Piles. Fealfnlof the consequences, they take little or nothing internally, in the form of medicine, during this interesting period. To all afflicted with Piles or costiveness, under theso circumstances, I can say the Electuary may be taken, not only wiih perfect safety, but with decidedly bene ficial effects, not only previous to, hut alter confine ment. F O R , C H IL D R E N . ' In nil those affeclions,to which children aro pecu liarly liable, which ure generally of an inflammatory character, and often tenmnalo fatally hy congestion, ihe E ectuary is an admirable remedy, inasmuch ns it reduces inflnmrnuiion, prevents congestion, throws all moibid humors outward, acts without pain, and is easily administered. THE QUANTITY OF ELECTUARY REQUI SITE TO PRODUCE A PERMANENT CURE. This will depend on the length of time thedisense 1ms existed In recent cases, or those lhat has exist ed but a short time, okbdox is usually sufficient; but where the complaint has existed from two to ten, or even twenty years, from four to ten boxes nre requi site to effect a permanent cure. In obstinate cases lhat have existed for years, mid resisted all other rcmcdtes, four boxes are no more than u.fair trial.— There are many diseases to which we arc subject, re quiring medical treatment from three to twelve1 months, ami shall it be thought strange thnt thisdiseaso should also require a length of lime in order toeffect a cure? It should be remembered tlmt we have old associations to break up, morbid conditions of the system to remove, depraved secretions to renew, and long continued ami obstinntc determinations of blood to overcome; in short the whole habitof the system is to be changed. larn led to these remarks from the circumstance that some persons, after having used part of a box have thrown it aside, ond denounced it as an imposition; this is neither doing justice to themselves or me.
