Gundlach of this village, a veteran of the Civil War, who will be 81 years old this month, recently completed a concrete walk in the rear of his home, built a fine piazza with concrete base and also a con- crete foundation for pipeless furnace recently iustalled by the Unadilla Hardware Co. in his home. He con- veyed the material for the concrete by wheelbarrow from the sand bank on Olifton street to his home on up- 'per 'Martin Brook street.
