Great ac tivity is noa\' manifest at Fall River, and it is stated that fully one eight of all the prints manufactured there are' noav shipped to England, the amount reaching 15,000 pieces aveekly. The goods sent .are of the avidcr styles, and much of the machinery at Fall River and elsewhere isi being altered so as to make a stated suppl}' of these goods. It is also said that these prints are considered there of -so much superior quality that the English makers are placing American marks on their own goods, to facilitate their sale. There is certainl 3 ’^ cause for congratulation and Ibis is only one of the signs of “ a good timecoming. ” —^jVIr. J. J. Healy of Goshen, and D. J. Greenleaf, Esq., of this village, have form ed a copartnership for the purpose of tun ing, regulating aud repairing pianos. The abilities of Mr. Healy are so well known to the people of this vicinity that he needs no recommendation from us. Wherever he has been employed he has made his repu tation, and his ability is undisputed. Mr. Greenleaf, though he lias but recently giv en this subject his attention, is an apt pu pil, and is well calculated to assist Mr. Healy in his labors. The superior musical abilities of both of these gentlemen will prove an invaluable assistance to them in th<nr business.
