Of wool simiion the common wheel at the rate of 2 1-2 runs to the pound, calling 12 runs the usual week’s work, for which he pays 6 s and c.harges 6s per week forboard, the spinning will amount to g;Sl 50. Takethesame quantity of wool bnd spin it upon this machine, making thr same number of runs, calling 48-runs (which is an avaraged ordiaary weeks work) allow the same wages and charging the same amount for board per week, and the spinning will cost D7 75, mailing a saving on each 100 lbs of woo! of 75, amounting to more than the whole expense of the machine.
