Lockport and vicinity, that he has opened a school in said village for the purpose of giving instruc- tion to all who may honor him with their patron- age. Tothe Farmer, Mechanic, Merchant, Pro- fessional man, and man of leisure, his lessons can not fail of being interesting as well as useful ana instructive. OF his system he would only say,- that he teaches a regular business hand. From his extensive experience experience in teaching this most important branch of education, and the approbation which his system has received of bu- siness men, together with his writing and manner of instruction, he hesitates not to say that he shall be able to please all who may place them- selves under his tuition. His method of forming the capitals,a most essential part of good writing, is peculiar to himself; and must recommend itself to every business man and lover of fine pen- manship. 'To that interesting class of young men who are desirous of becoming clerks and ac- countants, and qualified to pursue such business with honor and profit toithemseives, he would call especial attention to his lessons, believing that by a single rourse they may lay the foundation, and so far perfect a hand writing as will enable them to become slalful and finished penmen, and popu- lar business writers. lows.
